Love you Zack, you my broski. I remember the times when we would hang out and you would drive for Zane and me. Thanks for helping Zane and me build his computer, even though you were doing most of the work.

After reading about Zachary’s recent death I wanted to express my sympathy for the Johnston family and friends. I know Zachary has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved one falls asleep in death , the pain and grief feels unbearable. Our loving God , Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the bible. Psalms 34::18 tells us: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves thoses who are crushed in spirit.” He also promises to destroy this enemy ,death for once and for all in Rev.21:4. These scriptures have given me hope and strenghtened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? Zack, thank you for being such a great friend to my little sister. She always spoke so fondly of you and I am incredibly grateful that you two were able to share so many memories together. I personally will always remember you pulling up to my house in your awesome Mustang to pick up Mary before prom and how cute you two looked together in my front yard as you posed for some photos. My love goes out to all of your family and friends as they learn to cope with this devastating loss. You will be greatly missed.

Zack was my closest friend from age 11 to about 14.
His mother, Stacy, treated me like I was apart of the family when we started hanging out so much that I found myself at their house almost daily over multiple summers and even through the school years. He introduced me to many video games and helped me get better at them. We spent many hours playing, talking to eachother with his brother and a few other stellar individuals via groupchats. Some of my fondest memories and some of the most funny moments and situations I’ve ever encountered stemmed from these long hours spent together just trying to amuse ourselves and eachother. I remember when he and his family relocated to Maui for a year and I was so sad that the only person I even enjoyed hanging out with at the time was leaving . And when he said they were coming back I was elated, and it was great having Zack and Jake back to hang out with on a regular basis.
They had some great stories from the island and kept me entertained. I can’t express how deeply it pains me to know that such a dear friend of mine that helped define so many important years of my life has met such an untimely demise. My condolences go to Stacy, Jake, and Zack’s aunt, uncle, cousins, and his grandparents.
Thanks for all the laughs and memories…
    Thanks for everything.
    Rest in paradise, Zack.
