Born August 20, 1934 in Waycross, Georgia , a long time resident of Sacramento California passed away on June 16, 2015. Preceded in death by his father Willie David, mother Nancy Smith, and Sharon L. Langley. After leaving Georgia and moving to Newark New Jersey, Willie entered the United States Air Forces in 1954, serving honorably for 22 years and 11 months retiring in 1977 . Willie continued serving his country as a government employee for an additional 19 years and 6 months at McClellan AFB, Sacramento, California, obtaining a second retirement in 1999, he loved saying, “There are never problems, only situations and solutions.” he was always looking for solutions.

An avid golfer, Willie traveled the world, throughout his travels he was never without his golf clubs, he enjoyed playing and teaching golf, passing on his knowledge and wisdom to those that would listen and at times to those that did not.

He leaves behind his daughter’s Nancy D. Cruz (Stephen), Mary A. Phillips, Wilda S. Powers (Timothy), Evie L. Smith and his son Troy R. Langley, Grand-daughters: Davida, Bergan, Ashley , Paris, Trenee, Tyler, Jordan, Noel and Eden, Grandson: Kenneth, Brandon, Mark( Evita), Anthony, Troy Jr. and Desmond, Great-Grand-daughters, Kayla, Kyla, London and Great Grand-Sons Kyle and Jaden , His Sister Esta Mae Williams and niece Sharon Williams.

“You choose the road you travel, you make the bed you lie in.” Willie has traveled many roads throughout his life, God has chosen his final journey and we have chosen his final resting place.
