Virginia Rose Mosier

Virginia Rose Mosier passed away November the 18th at the age of 92. She was born on September 9, 1919 in Clinton Iowa to Edward and Lena Hankey, she was the youngest of their 3 children.
She married her sweetheart Earl Mosier November 16, 1937. In 1940 they welcomed their first child Darlene. Darrell arrived in 1945 and Elaine followed in 1950 thus completing the Family.
All that Virginia ever wanted to do in life was to be a good Wife and loving Mother, She truly accomplished that mission. She was also a fine Christian example to all who knew and loved her.
The Mosier family moved to Sheldon Rd. in Elk Grove in 1959 and that’s where Virginia lived until her peaceful passing at the age of 92.
She lived a full and wonderful life. Her children and other family members contine to live on the Mosier Ranch. Virginia was very strong in her faith, she loved her church family. She loved teaching and working with children.
She had many hobbies one was crocheting. She made many baby blankets and quilts for her family and friends. She enjoyed collecting dolls, antique shopping and traveling.
Virginia is survived by her loving family. She was perceded in death by her parents, siblings, and most recently, on April 21 of this year, her husband of 73 years Earl.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, November 27 from 3:00pm-5:00pm and a Memorial Service for her on Monday, November 28th at 1:00pm all at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, in Elk Grove.
