Virgil “Leo” Burrows passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 1, 2018 at the age of 84.
He was born October 9, 1933 in Havana Arkansas to Grover and Cordelia (Fink) Burrows the youngest of 8 children. He moved to Oklahoma when he was 5 years old. Leo and his family moved to California when he was 16 years old where he attended Elk Grove High School. In 1954 he met his future wife Priscilla Hunsaker and they married in June 15, 1958. Leo work as a Glazier for over 40 plus years and retired in 1997. Leo was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, and gardening. Leo enjoyed coaching Little League baseball, spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Leo also loved to watching football his favorite team was the Kansas City Chiefs. Leo was preceded in death by his parents Grover and Cordelia Burrows his brothers and sisters Emma Jane Bull, Russell Burrows, Dewey Burrows, Edith Pogue, Eoline Gardner, Ella Mae Bell, and Noble Burrows. He is also survived by his wife Priscilla of 60 years, his children and grandchildren Kalynn, Bruce, David, and Heather James. Kim Burrows, Christina D’Antonoli, and Ricky Klatt. Bryan, Terri, and Brittany Burrows. Dan and Hallie Rose Burrows. Great grandchildren Savanni, Alessandro (Alex), and Arianna D’Antonoli and Zane Klatt. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. He appreciated his long friendships with dear friends and neighbors, too numerous to name.
