Born on June 7, 1965 in Berkeley, California and called by our Lord on October 14, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents Felix and Trinidad Gutierrez devoted husband to Nady and loving father to his son Tristan also loved by his sisters Gloria Grijalva and Maria Elena Valdivia. Vince comes from a large family and is blessed to have many nieces, nephews and cousins.
During his high school years, Vince was Treasurer of the Maya Club and in the first graduating class of Hiram Johnson West Campus High School (known today as West Campus). After graduation he moved to the Bay Area to explore new frontiers, he chose to attend San Jose State University for a few years and all the construction management classes completed allowed him to become a very successful Yard Manager to one of the best companies known in Redwood City.
Vince had a passion for American Staffordshire Terriers and would show his two dogs; Tank and Capone.Tank in most dog shows placed” first place” and Capone “Best of Show”. He was a diehard Raiders fan, sports fanatic, loved to fish and golf.
Very active with his son Tristan, coached flag football basketball and baseball also coached, managed and played softball where he brought a group of players from all over that did not know one another and all became friends.
He touched so many lives that he was known as “Uncle Vince .
