Navarro, Tamara Jean (Oates)

Tammy Navarro passed away at the age of 65 on July 9, 2014. She was born October 1, 1948 in Akron, Ohio and came to California as a young child. She spent most of her adult life in and around the Sacramento area, attending the University of California, Davis where she ultimately earned a Ph.D. in psychology. She dedicated her career to the mental health industry and was a long-time advocate for those suffering from mental illnesses. She loved arts and crafts, collecting stickers, and animals, especially her three cats. She is survived by her two children, Aeisha Mastagni and Paul Navarro, her only grandchild, Isabella Mastagni, and her brother Thomas Oates.

Services will be held graveside at the East Lawn, Sierra Hills Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento on Thursday, July 17th at 11:00 a.m.
