Dear Sharon, I still remember the first time we met. You welcomed me so warmly and later yelled at Erik & Jeff when they pushed me into the deep end of the pool. And that was you, you always came to the rescue of anyone who needed you. Sharon, it saddens us that someone who enjoyed life as much as you is no longer with us. You were able to make every family gathering memorable just by being you and sharing your warm personality. You were a born leader and teacher, it was the perfect profession for you. You were able to see a greater potential in everyone and didn’t give up on anything. You have left your unique mark on countless students, animals, family and friends. You will be missed.

  • Michael Moffatt says:

Aunt Sharon, I will always remember your smile. My favorite memory is when Jennifer and I stayed with you and Chip as we drove through California on our way to moving her to Phoenix with me. Living in California now I wish I had planned a visit so you could have met our son Xavier. He turned 1 just a few days before you passed. We all love you very much and are thankful for the memories you gave us. Keep smiling! Xavier does have a message for you – doh, doh, doh, noooo, yeaaah hi! Love Michael, Elizabeth and Xavier.

  • Tara Head says:

Sharon, I am at such a loss for words! It has been a month since you left us and I still cannot grasp that you are gone. I know we were there with you, but as our lives have continued on I still look forward to this summer and being able to share so much with you! I see your sweet face, I see your amazing smile, I hear your voice, and I hear your contagious laughter. I love you and miss you so very much! It has truly been and honor and a blessing to be your little sister and I just thank you for being who you were and what you stood for, the inspiration you have always been to me! I take comfort in the way you would want all of us to keep your memory close, not with sorrow, but with peace and joy, the very example that you lived! I will forever keep you in my heart! Much much love to you our sweet Sharon! “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
