Ruth Naomi Kohout, born April 4, 1916 in Rushville, NE to William and Mabel Fisher, passed away May 12, 2016, in Folsom, CA surrounded by her devoted family. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Kohout. She left a legacy of kindness and love to her son’s Duane (Diane) Kohout of Mesa, AZ, Darold (Lynnie) Kohout of Folsom, CA, her grandchildren Wendi Rus of Gilbert, AZ, Jeff Kohout of Chandler, AZ, Mike (Renee) Kohout of El Dorado Hills, CA and Susie (Mark) Wetklow of Folsom, CA, her great-grandchildren Hayden and Marley Rus of Gilbert, AZ and Kaitlyn Kohout of El Dorado Hills, CA and her 4th is on the way, and a large family of nieces and nephews, some who came from afar to celebrate her 100th Birthday last month. Family was everything to her and she everything to her family. She was loved and adored by all who met her. Her smile brightened the room. She will be desperately missed.

Mom has left a huge hole in our lives that will never heal. But we will continue to fill it with love and memories of this amazing beautiful lady. Love you Mom…… will miss our breakfasts and hot dogs. 🙂
