She graduated from Sacramento HS in 1933 and attended Sacramento Jr. College and graduated from San Jose State College. Ruth enjoyed a 25 year career as a school teacher in the Sacramento area at Caleb Greenwood and Sutterville Elementary Schools. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold, by her parents, and by her siblings, John Morgan MD, Jean Williams, and Carolyn Fouts. Ruth spent the last 7 years of her life living in Chico to be near family. After retiring, Ruth traveled to Europe and all over the US to include numerous trips to Hawaii, and to Alaska.
