Robert Randall Rayburn Sr.

Robert Randall Rayburn, Sr., known to everyone as “Randy” born 3/13/1949 was met in heaven by his parents, Lewis Rayburn, Betty Lou Rayburn and his beloved sister Sheila Rayburn on December 19, 2017. Randy is survived by his siblings, Lewis Rayburn, Linda Theberge, Kathy Chappell, David Rayburn and Ginny Miller. Randy leaves behind three children, Lorri Harmon, Ronna Brown and Robert Rayburn, Jr., four grandchildren, Gregory Harmon, Jr., Emily Harmon, Matthew Harmon and Haydan Poppe including three great grandchildren, Avorri Dickison, Emmitt Dickison and Brian Harmon.
Randy was a certified welder and worked at GM for many years; He was a member of the Carpenters Union local Millwright 102. Randy enjoyed the outdoors, racing and building race cars, karate and most important he was devoted to his children and an amazing grandfather; he adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was loved and cherished by his family and the loss has been devastating.
Randy will be laid to rest next to his beloved mother, Betty Lou Rayburn at East Lawn Mortuary located at 5757 Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights on December 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm in a private ceremony.

    Dad I miss you so much that it hurts, I am so blessed to have had so much time with you and the memories that we made together. I still see your smile and I can hear you laughing… Your legacy will always live on in me, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren…. This has been so devastating daddy, I want you to come home… Dad I’m trying so hard to do what you would want me to do and honor you as it should be…. Please dad help me through this…. “A hug Dad”

    Randy you are my brother and l miss you and seeing you on Xmas and thanksgiving every year l just can not get over that you are gone you are the big brother you are suppose to take care of all of us and be our rock but l know you are in a better place now with daddy and mommy and Sheila you are all with each other may you rest in peace l miss seeing you l love you your sis Linda
