Obituary

Robert Joseph Casillas III left us unexpectedly at the young age of 24. Robert was loving, caring and easy-going; family always came first. He was a great father, he loved his children very much and would do anything for his family. No matter what was going on, he always made sure to tell his mom, “Don’t worry Mom, I got it.” Robert would always welcome you with a big smile and even bigger hug and when you said good-bye, he always told you he loved you. Every room he walked into he brought laughter with him. Every family gathering you could count on him to make you smile-whether it was with a joke, funny story, or even singing a song. He was handsome and he knew it – he’d remind you in case you forgot. He was a strong man, hard-working and never allowed fear to hold him back from anything. Robert was a loyal friend and his cousins were some of his closest confidants. If you ever needed anything, Robert was there to help in any way he could. As a child Robert was always laughing, willing to help around the house or with his younger siblings. He loved spending the summer vacations at his cousin’s houses swimming, rough housing, or playing outside. Robert had a big heart for those he loved and words can’t describe how much he will be missed by all who knew him. Robert is survived by his longtime fiancé Jestine Hernandez, son Robert IV, and daughter Rose. Parents Robert Casillas Jr. and Debbie Correa, brothers Anthony and Andrew, and sister Valarie. Grandparents Robert Casillas Sr. and Kathy Suraci, Albino and Deborah Correa, as well as many aunts, uncles cousins and close friends.
