Richard Joseph Raddigan

 Born April; 21, 1950 in Woodland, CA and he passed away March 4, 2012 in Sacramento, CA.  He is survived by his wife Judith Raddigan, daughter Richelle  Godsey, and grandchildren Vincent, Christopher, and Austin Godsey of Auburn, CA. His brothers Louis Raddigan of Penryn, CA, Ronald Raddigan of Marysville, CA, Steven Raddigan of Acampo, CA, and Randall Raddigan of Sacramento, CA. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Lewis Frederick Raddigan and Alice Mary Raddigan (Bettencourt).

Richard served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He was a member of the Bricklayers Local 3 Union and worked in that profession in the Sacramento area for approximately 30 years.  Richard enjoyed numerous hobbies including panning for gold, restoring his WWII Army Jeep, miniature trains, and spending time with his grandchildren.. He was a remarkable man who will be remembered for his incredible ability to make people laugh and smile.
