Raymond E. Ouckett

After a long and difficult struggle resulting from the effects of “COPD” Ray died January 28, 2015.He is preceded in death by his devoted wife Clova Nell Puckett and his son Steven W. Puckett. He is survived by a son Raymond Puckett, 1 grandson, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 step grandsons. He was born May 1918 in Little Rock Arkansas. On December 5th 1941 Ray enlisted in the US Army Air Corp and he served his Nation through WWII, Korea conflict, and the Cold War. Upon retiring from the USAF Ray began an exciting and rewarding career with the McDonnell-Douglas Aero-Space Company in Rancho Cordova. Ray and many others researched, developed, and tested all 18 of the 3rd stage of the NASA rockets that propelled Human Kind on it’s last great adventure, “Space, the Final Frontier.” In lieu of flowers Mr. Puckett’s family requests that you make a small donation to the Museum of the Confederacy, Richmond, Virginia.
Friends are welcome to attend a niche side service on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento.
