Quintin Thomas Bullock-Steffke

Mar 1, 1995 - Jan 3, 2018

Quintin T. Bullock
Resident of Sacramento
It is with great sadness that we need to share that our beloved Quintin passed away on January 3rd, 2018. Quintin is survived by his father, Thomas Bullock, his mother, Tiffany Loeffler (Steffke), his step-father, Bobby Loeffler, sisters Olivia and Laila, and his grandfather, Thomas Bull-ock Sr. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Cecelia Bullock, his grandfather, Terry Steffke, and his step-grandmother, Roberta Loeffler.
Quintin was born in Folsom, CA on March 1st, 1995. He grew up in Fol-som and nearby El Dorado Hills. He loved being a part of all the sports teams he played on while growing up. As soon as he started attending Sacramento State he pledged Pi Kappa Alpha and thoroughly enjoyed his time with his fraternity brothers. His fondest love was his time spent with his fellow Marines as he was a reservist at the Lathrop, CA depot. Quintin felt that being a Marine was the one thing he knew he was great at. Everyone always shares how much fun they have with Quintin and how he was always lifting people’s spirits.
Quintin’s service will be held at East Lawn Andrews & Greilich Mortuary on Saturday January 13th at 1:00 pm, 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento.

After I read about Quintin’s recent death after just 22 way too short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Bullock-Steffke family and friends. I know Quintin has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you very much. 1 Peter 5:7 Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will live……And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it.” For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God’s kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:23-25) I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: myranj@centurytel.net I pray you will find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled “Keep Your Eyes on the Prize” https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO or watch this short, faith strengthening video: “Can The Dead Really Live Again?” https://vimeo.com/232445509
During this very difficult time you will be in my prayers.

  • Jacqueline Loeffler says:

Quintin was my cousin, and although we were not very close as we didn’t see each other often, the one memory I have of him was Quintin being a happy, energetic, and down-for-anything type of person. And I choose to continue seeing him this way.
