April 15, 1923 – June 7, 2014

On the morning of June 7, 2014, at the Mercy San Juan Hospital, our beloved Ping Y. Lee passed away peacefully into heaven and into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A devoted husband and loving father, he is survived by his loving wife, Helen, of 62 years; his daughter, Annette Lee Jew and son-in-law, Gregory Jew; his grandsons, Darrell, Cory, and Nicholas Jew; his son, Calvin Lee, and his daughter-in-law, Christina Sue Lee, and his adorable granddaughter, Beatrice Lee.

Ping was a long time resident of Sacramento. He worked for the National Dollar Store as a store manager at the Lodi, Stockton, Marysville, and San Francisco locations before retiring. He was known for his creative and appealing store front window displays. Ping enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening, and working around the house in his retirement years. He was blessed to have lived a very long, healthy, and happy life until God called him home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014, at the East Lawn

Elk Grove Memorial located at 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove and will be followed by the burial.

We are truly sorry for the loss of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Lee was always so sociable, had a sense of humor and loved to laugh. He lived life to the fullest and then God called him home. We are thankful for Mr. Lee’s salvation, for he is now with our Heavenly Father. With Love, Clint, Cindy and Josh Pon
