Lois and Family- My deepest sympathy to you all. Peter will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Always with a smile on his face no matter what came his way. We have to be happy for him because he is where he wants to be, and for the first time in a lot of years, he is not sick. His mother waited a long time for her baby to come home so that she could hold him in her arms again and I am sure that she was right there carrying him right into Heaven so that she could be with him again for all eternity. I can remember watching over my baby brother and now he is watching over me. I will miss him but he will always be with me in my heart. Sleep in peace, my brother. I love you, Peter.

  • Rachel Shafer- slechta says:

To the whole Riccobene Family; I am so sorry that you have pain in your heart. I feel it too. Pete is such an awesome person. Growing up, he always made me laugh and feel better about any situation. I will love him always. Please know that I am here if any of you need anything. I know that I haven’t seen you all in a long time, but I do consider you a second family. Thank you Pete for all the joy you brought to this world. I miss you and hope you know how much we all love you. I know that I will see you again someday, until then you and my Dad can hang out and joke around together. I love you Pete. Thanks for all the songs you sang to Erin and me every morning on the way to school. See ya. Love Rachel

  • Joan (Calautti) Harkin says:

To all of Uncle Peter’s family, First of all let me say what a handsome picture of him – but he was a handsome man – I know that because he told me every chance he got! I hope you all find comfort in all your memories with him. I hadn’t seen him in many, many years but the one thing I remember about him was how much he loved his family. Please know that all of his family here in Massachusetts are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers as you go through the next few days. Love, Joan, Mike, Kasey and Matthew Harkin

  • Stephen, Paula, Andrew & Samantha (Calautti) DiChiara says:

Auntie Lois & Family Please know that all of you are not forgotten here in Massachusetts. Uncle Peter would want you to smile for him, he was such a happy man… Uncle Peter was always playing jokes, when he would call my mothers house. He would never say who he was unless he used a movie stars name. Then when he used a movie stars name we knew it was him…We hope you find comfort on knowing that he is at peace. Stay strong. Love to all.

  • Cheryl (Mancini) Nelson says:

To Uncle Peter’s Family, The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Uncle Peter is his smile and sense of humor. Whenever he would call, we always knew it was Uncle Peter because the first thing he said was something to make you laugh! Please know that although you are miles away, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all.

  • Kathleen Yoshida says:

As you all know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I loved Uncle Pete dearly and will miss him every day. Please take comfort in the knowledge, as I do, that he is in God’s loving arms along with my Mother, his parents, his father-in-law and all other family and friends that have paved the way and are happily enjoying his wit and charm. Love you all….Kathy

  • Gina Mancini Nellis says:

  • Rosemary Calautti says:

Dear Lois & family, Please accept our sympathy on your great loss. My memory of him during the first seventeen years was, “let your brother have it” from my mother. Needless to say he was the apple of her eye. The best memory was his entrance into the hall at our family reunion. His smile was electrifying! He never stopped smiling and TALKING the whole time. Peter, you will be greatly missed, but there is comfort in knowing we have another angel to talk to and watch over us. My love forever – Rosemary and Dom Calautti
