Terry, George, and Sophia, I am so sorry for your loss. I will forever remember Penny’s warmth, confidence, and help she gave me in my early days at Valley. She was encouraging and supportive to those of us early to our profession. I was always grateful for the safe place she offered us in her domain: the Valley High Library along with Pat and Joanne. Her wisdom and enthusiasm was indelible-and yes the laughter that was shared! She represented all the good in being an educator-the love and the humanity. She remains unforgettable!
