Patricia "Patsy" B. Pratt

Patricia B. Pratt, 94, passed away at home on December 17, 2016, in Sacramento, CA. She was born in Long Beach, CA on March 13, 1922. She is survived by three children, Barbara (David) Grundstrom of Rapid City, Stanley (Diana) of Sacramento, Charles (Marie Franke) of Hercules, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Stanley Pratt in 1996, her sisters Blanche Geary, Vera Glunt, her brother Warren Newfield, and grandson Kevin Pratt.
Patricia raised her family in Sacramento where she had many friends and varying passions. Among these were traveling with the Wheelabouts Square Dance Travel & Trailer Club, the Pathfinders Square Dance Club and Merwin Memorial Ladies Club. Patricia cherished the time spent cooking for employees at Yellowstone National Park, spending many hours playing Bingo and Bunco, and crafting with her many friends at the Florin Mobile Estates. Most of all she loved spending time with her family by venturing out to the casinos, traveling abroad including many wonderful cruises. During her down time you could find her reading or mastering any word puzzle.
Services to be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017, 10:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Boulevard, Elk Grove, CA. There will be a viewing January 3, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Florin Methodist Church.
