April 5, 2018 Cherishing life on earth, Mary courageously passed with dignity at the age of 102 at Eskaton Greenhaven April 5, 2018. She will be missed and remembered by her loving daughters Isabelle Gorman, Shirley Sellers (Jim), Betty McFeely, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren of families Biondi, Dubois, Gobrecht, Reichert, Torgerson and Schuh, along with her extended friends and caregivers who shared witness to her concern and care for others, love, warmth and laughter. Mary was preceded by her husband of 43 years, Jesus, and her son Conrad. A Sacramento County resident with a home in Perkins from 1942 she was born July 29, 1915 in Santa Clara, California to Conrado & Natividad Munoz of Spain. Losing her parents to Tuberculosis, she was orphaned at age 6 and fostered in Mexico. Reunited with her siblings at the age of 18 in Watsonville, California, she met and married her husband in 1935. Along with raising a family and creating life-long friendships, Mary worked in the Cannery Industry at Campbell Soup and Libby’s along with seasonal picking of orchard fruits in the surrounding areas. An exemplary Matriarch is her lasting legacy. Services will be held April 13th, 2018 at 10:00 am with a viewing April 12th from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm at East Lawn Memorial Park 4300 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento Ca 95819.
