Martha was the youngest of 5 children born to Stanislaw and Stanislawa Mierzejewski in Worcester, Massachusetts on July 29, 1924. Stanislawa worked as a tailor while raising Martha after the older children left home.
In 1944 Martha joined the navy. She worked in the naval photo lab where she met “Bill” (William S. Robison), a navy photographer. They were married in Alameda, California on May 27th, 1945. They spent 50 years together in San Diego, California until Bill’s death in 1995.
Martha was a totally dedicated mother, wife, grandmother and lovingly participated in the raising of her many grandchildren. She worked in the school cafeteria, was an accomplished artist and enjoyed passing on her talents to her children.
After Bill’s death she resided in Olympia, Washington near family members there. After several re-locations she settled in Sacramento, California with her eldest daughter Patty.
She is survived by her 6 children, Patty Feldman, Wendy Hickey, Bridget capraro, Eddie Robison, Alice Leger and mary Mendez, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She will be interred next to her husband at Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma, California.
