Marilyn Anne Lint
May 10, 1958 - Aug 24, 2015
Passed away after an extended illness on August 24, 2015 at the age of 57. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Lint. She is survived by her father R. Dale Lint, stepmother Florence, sister Susan Gardner, brothers Stephen and Michael Lint, nieces Andrea and Rachel and nephews Aaron and Sean.
A native of Sacramento, Marilyn attended St. Charles Borromeo Elementary School and Bishop Monogue High School. She earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a Masters degree in Special Education from Sacramento State University and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Marilyn enjoyed her career as a special education elementary school teacher in the Elk Grove Unified School District working with young children. Her cheerful disposition and sunny smile prompted her many friends to call her “Miss Sunshine.” She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary, Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7584 Center Parkway, Sacramento. Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Marilyn may be made to St. Charles Borromeo School, 7580 Center Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95823 or a charity of donor’s choice.
