GREGORY, Marian
Marian Gregory enjoyed her morning walks visiting with neighbors and offering homemade cookies to anyone in need of a pick-me-up. She also enjoyed working in her garden and was complimented on her beautiful flowers on a regular basis. Marian attended St. Claire’s Catholic Church and volunteered her services in the office for several years. She also enjoyed many activities and exercise classes at the Maidu Senior Center; her most memorable trip was to the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena the year Roseville entered a float celebrating their 200th anniversary. Marian passed away after several years of battling deteriorating lungs from pneumonia on January 30, 2012. Marian was a native Californian, born on February 2, 1934 in Santa Maria, California. Marian’s first love was the beach and she enjoyed trips there throughout her 30 year marriage to her belated husband, Ray Gregory. She is survived by her daughters, Paula, Sharon & Jeannie Hiatt of San Jose and Diane Magnuson of Rocklin and Step-daughters, Judy Brehm, Sherrie Bornstein and Nancy Cleveland, sister-in-law Carol Ramsay, grandsons, Scott, Tony & Brian Magnuson and several great grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday, February 2 at 2:00 PM at Sierra Hills Chapel at East Lawn Cemetery in Citrus Heights.
