Lucy Ferguson

Jun 21, 1961 - Jun 25, 2017

Lucy Ferguson was born in Fresno CA on June 21, 1961 and passed away on June 25, 2017 in Sacramento, Ca.
Lucy was the beloved daughter of Connie and Patrick Estorga, loving sister of Henry, Richard Linda and Chris. Lucy was a loving mother to Angela Michael, Jacob and Joseph Ferguson. Lucy is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog Angel.

Lucy began her career in social work with disabled adults and children in San Diego as a teenager and continued in that field until her passing. Those who knew as Lucy would describe her as a free spirit with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She always enjoyed being in the outdoors, traveling and mostly loved bringing people together for any and all occasions. Lucy was very welcoming to all she came into contact with and treated everyone as family. Lucy will be greatly missed by her family and many friends and we will celebrate her life on Friday July 7, 2017 with visitation on Thursday July 6, 2017. Memorial services will be held at Southside Community Church located at 8890 Gerber Rd at 10:00 am with graveside services immediately following at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park located at 9189 East Stockton Blvd. Visitation will be held at East Lawn from 4-8 pm .

I’m sorry for the death of your dear loved one. In this difficult time there is comfort and hope in a promise found in the Bible that guarantees soon we will be able to see them again by means of the earthly resurrection. (Acts 24:15; Ps. 37:29)
