Lorraine Clarke died peacefully at home after suffering from dementia. She was born Lorraine Knerr on May, 29, 2938 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to Paul and Florence Knerr, and grew up in Philadelphia. She married the love of her life James (Bootsie) Clarke who proceeded her to heaven in 1994. Lorraine leaves behind her son, Gary Clarke (Charlene) and daughter Donna Kulczyk (David), her grandchildren, Elizabeth Fong (Kevin), Richard Trisler (Jessica), Lisa Tuttle (Norman), Jamie Roberson (Chris), Christopher (McKenzie), Brandon, Sarah, and Arron Clarke and 16 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Carol Davis (Jess) and her best friend and adopted sister, Margaret Williams, and many friends and long-distance family. Lorrain worked most of her life at the Department of Fish and Game until she retired. She was an avid bowler, bunko player, and traveler. She was devoted to her church, the United Methodist Church in Rancho Cordova, and was involved in many church activities including her love of singing in the church choir. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
