Loretta Jane Wadsworth

Born February 20, 1935 in Harvey, North Dakota; passed away October 11, 2015 in Citrus Heights, California at the age of 80. Loretta was one of eight children and of Norwegian decent. Greatly missed by her sisters; Jordis Bellows of Sacramento, Pamela Miller of Twain, Deborah Denham of Citrus Heights, and Naomi Foster of Fair Oaks. Forever remembered by her nieces and nephews; Lena Lozano, Juli Miller, Larisa Swabado and Hugh Wangen of Texas, Gary Wangen Jr., Anna Williams, Heather Haaglund and Heidi Wangen of Nevada, Rodney Bellows of Sacramento, Elliot Miller of Arizona, Joe Miller and Russell Miller of Utah, Christina Denham of Sacramento, Jennifer Ivanov of Citrus Heights, Vernon Foster and Eddie Foster of Chicago, and numerous Great nieces and nephews. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Wadsworth, her mother and father; Jordis and Lyness Wangen, brothers; Bernard Wangen, Herman Wangen, and Gary Wangen, nephew; James Brennan-Wangen. Loretta worked several years as a secretary at Aerojet General and Teichert Construction. She enjoyed her bowling leagues and golfing with her family and friends. She worked at the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee for several years with her husband Hal.
Loretta, a charter member of Advent Lutheran Church, worked in the early years as a Sunday school teacher, and sang with the choir. She was very faithful to her church and also her family. A celebration of life will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 5901 San Juan Ave., Citrus Heights, 95610, on Saturday, November 14th at 12 Noon.
