Obituary

HIGGINS, Lillian
With deep regret we announce the unexpected passing of Lillian Higgins of natural causes. Lillian was a sixth generation native of Sacramento. She was a petite woman that was tough as nails. She was an accomplished horsewoman that competed in dressage events since she was a child and she also enjoyed sketching and painting. Lillian worked in the development and construction industry where she became a LEED Accredited Professional. Words that describe Lillian include tenacious, energetic, well-loved, passionate, caring, creative, and generous. She is survived by her parents David and George Ann, sister Kathleen, brothers Dave and Jim, nieces Alix, Madeline, Sydney, Carrie, and nephew Mike. Private services have been held. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to the Crocker Art Museum where she served as a volunteer
