Leland Leong Lee

Born in Tolsan, China on February 6, 1926, he passed away in Sacramento on September 4, 2011. Leland immigrated to the United States at the age of 8. In 1965, he became a citizen of the United States. Leland is survived by his daughter Vicky Ludovissy, his son L. Kam Lee (Cathy), his three grandsons, Shannon Ludovissy, Whitney Lee and Corin Lee, his brothers, Jim Lee (Ellen), Robert Lee (Rita), Roy Lee, his sisters, Jeanette Lee, Dona Chung (John), Delia Tom and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Daryl Lee, his parents, Lee Kam Kee and Mei Yee, his brother Herbert Lee and sister Annette Park. He was a 50 Year member at Hammonton Lodge #433 and a member of the Ben Ali Temple where he played with the Drums and Glocks. A long time resident of Colusa and Yuba Counties, Leland was the manager of Yuba Market in Marysville, California for many years. He retired in Sacramento, California in 1981.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on September 10, 2011 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at EAST LAWN MORTUARY, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, California 95841 and for the MEMORIAL SERVICE to be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Presbyterian Church, 4th and J Streets, Colusa, California, 95932. Interment to immediately follow at Colusa Cemetery.
