L. Frances Hall

Frances Hall passed September 4, 2013 at the age of 89. She was born April 1, 1924 and was raised in Altadena, California. She was proceeded in death by her devoted husband of 61 years Elmer E. Hall of Orinda, CA. She is survived by her son Larry Hall of Santa Rosa, CA, and her son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Jane Hall of Lincoln, CA; three grandchildren and their spouses; Troy and Lindsey Hall of Laguna Niguel, CA, Melissa and Brian Bellante of Antioch, CA, and Liz and Paul Roccucci of Lincoln, CA; and nine great-grandchildren: Brennen, Emily, Tony & Collette Bellante, Jayden Roccucci, Carys Hall, Charli Roccucci, Evan and Marin Hall.
Frances attended Pasadena City College and worked as an Escrow Officer before she married in 1946. She was a devoted wife and mother for over 61 years. She loved people and social activities.
Early in her married life she lived with her family at construction sites along the Feather River, Rock Creek, and the Upper Feather River from 1947-1958. In 1958 she moved to Campbell, CA with her husband and family while her husband attended Stanford University. In 1960 she and her family moved to San Francisco Bay Area where she resided until 2007. In 2007 she moved to Lincoln, CA. She was an active and vivacious homemaker and volunteer at the Assistance League of Diablo Valley.
Frances liked to play tennis and travel to exotic places such as China (just after Americans were allowed in China), Afghanistan (she drove over the Khyber Pass), Greece, and the Galapagos Islands.
