Hey Lil Brother,
It all ended way too soon.
I’m forever grateful for the time the Lord gave us together.
May you rest in peace
Love you!
John Porter
Kevin, my big brother, even though I’m older. You always looked out for me at the SVRC. You also shared your faith in Christ so I know I will see you again.
Love Your Little Sis

Kevin, my friend, my USC alumnus, my mentor, my social work field instructor, and fellow warrior. Thank you for sharing your talents and your gifts with me. I am a better social worker, a better veterans’ advocate, and better person because of the foundation you laid. I am forever grateful for the times we shared caring for veterans and forever grateful that God allowed us to become friends. Rest peacefully.
Kevin’s steadiness and knack for problem-solving will be dearly miss within HPACT (VA Homeless Primary Care).
He was never as happy as when I was honoring a homeless Veteran’s request for help.
I’ll remember that about him always.
Thank you,
Michael Yanuck MD

The Nor Cal Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Women’s Department expresses its deepest condolences to the Marshall Family. Although our work with Kevin was short term, his professionalism, warmth and generosity will always be remembered.
Please know that we are praying for your strength as you journey through this difficult time.
God bless.
My deepest condolences to Danielle and family. It is with the utmost sadness that I learned about Kevin’s passing. After being friends for many years, Kevin and I lost touch with each other when we moved away from Sacramento many years ago. As everyone has attested Kevin is a special kind of guy. No words can do him justice. He is the model of what a good man should be. Rest in peace my dear friend.
My deepest sympathies to Danielle, the boys, and extended family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I considered Kevin a friend. I gave him the nickname of home skillet and he ran with it. He broke down the tough walls that I built up and truly got to know me. He touched everyone his paths crossed. I am truly humbled to have known and worked with Kevin.
RiP Kevin Marshall

Until we meet again Kevin. Prayers to your wife, son’s and family.
