  • Joy Arthur Silva says:

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I worked with him in the CGS publications unit and also had the pleasure of riding light rail with him daily for several years. His sense of humor and great stories kept us laughing. He lived an adventurous life and will be missed. Prayers for his family.

  • Rick Givens says:

I served with Jerry in Ethiopia ’69 – ’71. He was a tremendous influence and a role model for us young guys. He was always available for advice or encouragement, or just to listen when your girl dumped you. The world is a little less for his departure.

  • Fred Wise says:

I was very sorry to hear of Gerald’s passing. Based on his last email I thought, perhaps hoped, that his lung condition was improving. Jerry was my best friend from the time we were five years old through our first 12 years of schooling in Windsor Borough Elementary School and Red Lion High School. While we have seen each other only once in the past 30 or so years, we have kept in touch via the email system, remembering more vividly the things we did in the 1955 than what happened last week.

  • Richard Ueberfluss says:

I knew Jerry in ’69,’70, and ’71, In Denver and Asmara, Ethiopia. We lost touch for years but reconnected a few years ago. I have good memories of adventures with Jerry and of his friendship. Jerry was a caring man and he will be missed. I’m glad to hear his passing was peaceful and pain free. Rest in peace, Jerry.

  • Jim Agnew says:

I am very sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. I got to know Jerry when I worked at CGS/SMIP (1998-2005) and really liked him. I especially enjoyed hearing his stories and his dry sense of humor. He was a great guy, he loved his family, and he will be missed by all who worked with him.

  • Don and Sue Ridgley says:

We are sorry to hear of Jerry’s death. We first met him during an Air Force assignment in Ethiopia many years ago. We truly enjoyed the years there with our dear friend. Our paths continued to cross and included time at McClellan and time at SMIP. Our prayers are with his family.

  • Steve Rider says:

I am very sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. He used to work with me at SMIP in the late 80’s and very early 90’s and I always thought he was an upstanding individual and good, hard worker. I have fond memories of trips in the field with Jerry while training him in seismic instrument servicing. My condolences to his family.

  • Julie Ufema says:
