Obituary

Kathy Trenton
On Sunday evening, February 15 at 8:20 PM, Jesus Christ came for Kathy Ann Trenton and took her to her eternal home in heaven. She passed away at Methodist Hospital as a result of a sudden and totally unexpected heart attack. She was sixty-three years old.
Kathy was born in Ontario, California where she graduated from Chaffey High School, and then attended Southern California College and California Poly in Pomona, California. Kathy worked as a secretary for several years, the last eight working for her husband as the church secretary and receptionist. She was actively involved in ministries of the church, serving as the “first lady” of the church as the pastor’s wife. Her greatest passion was that of being a mother two her two children and “nanny” to her grandchildren.
Kathy was the daughter of Tom and Betty Sanderson who retired and moved to Paradise, California in 1993. She was raised in a wonderful Christian home that she shared with her parents and brother Tom and sister Ellie. She met her husband, Mike, at Southern California College and they married on October 20, 1973. They had been married for forty-one years.
She is survived by her husband Mike and her father Tom. Mike and Kathy were blessed to two amazing children, Leslie and Scott, a wonderful son-in-law Bryce and three grandchildren; Caden, Hudson and Ava, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was a greatly loved sister-in-law and Aunt Kathy. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2009, her brother in 2010 and her sister in 2011. May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus until we see her again.
Lamentations 3:32
Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love.

Pastor Mike, Charlene and I were shocked and deeply saddened

upon learning of Kathy’s passing. Please know we are praying for you and your family that the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) will comfort you in this dark hour. We know that God’s grace will be sufficient in this time of need and He will help you thru this valley but it will not be an easy path. We love you and are standing with you. John Sherrard, Modesto, CA.
