Obituary

Karren Leroy “Bud” Stratton was born June 26, 1932 in Sacramento, CA, and passed away August 3, 2017 in Hughson, CA at the age of 85. He is greatly missed by his wife of 66 years, Willette. He is survived by his children Steven, Karren, Carol and Sandy. He is remembered by his 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and by his sister Nancy Burnham. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nannie and Leroy Stratton, and sisters Vada Crabbe, Ila Metcalf, and Evelyn Fisher.
Bud grew up in Sacramento, where he met the love of his life, Willette, when they attended Sacramento High School. He joined the Air Force, and served his country. Bud worked for Addressograph-Multigraph as a Printing Equipment Mechanical Manager for 32 years. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings. His most important and most cherished calling was that of husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Above all he loved his family.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:00am at the Florin Ward building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 8580 Florin Road, Sacramento, CA. A private burial will be held.
