I always admired how Kala did her work and how she treated everybody. Everybody liked her instantly. Her work ethic inspired me and the rest of us. She truly blessed everybody with her heart and kindness. I am so saddened that she is not in this world any more. I can rest easy though by knowing she is now in a better place. I will still miss her very much!
I feel truly blessed to have known Kala. She brought a special kind of peace with her everywhere she went and was a very special person. The world was a better place with her in it and I’m sure that wherever she is now, it is more beautiful because she is there. Rest in Peace.
To Kala’s family and friends – thank you so much for the opportunity to speak at the ceremony – it was mixed with so much emotion and mostly love prevailed throughout…I will miss and always remember my Scrabble buddy very much, and the sisterly love we shared as she counseled me in life. Be in Peace and of good cheer – rejoice in the reunion with the Creator. ~ Toni
