My deepest sympathies to my Tia Eva, cousins Olivia, Joe, Ed, Manual, Victor, and their families. Tio Jose was such a wonderful person with lots of stories to tell. My childhood visits to Stockton are memories that I hold dear to my heart. Be certain that his legacy will live on through the memories we will share with the next generation. God Bless him and may he rest in peace.

In respect and love to a wonderful family in the time of great loss. Jose/Tata full of love for his family and music. He will be greatly missed, greatly remembered and forever loved. A part of you will live forever in the hearts of my Children-your Grandson and Granddaughter. Gods peace be with Eva a wonderful wife, Jose’s Sons and Daugther, Grandkids and extended family. May the wonderful memories of Jose’s full long life bring you a smile and fill the void in your hearts.
Descanse en paz mi amigo Jose Sosa. Fue un honor andar tocando violin un lado contigo con Los Jilgueros. Tengo tantas buenos recuerdos de ti. Me recuerdo cuando iba a su casa para praticar mariachi en el violin. La primera cancion que aprendi contigo fue “las perlitas.” Tambien tengo tantos recuerdos cuando ibamos a los tocadas. Eres una persona muy especial para mi y para mi famila. Te vamos a extranar amigo. Un dia nos vemos otravez para tocar mariachi en el cielo. Descanse en paz.

Fue un honor ver conocido y ver tocado con Jose Sosa. Desde la primera vez que tocamos juntos, el me trato con mucha pasencia cuando yo empezaba a aprender la música que el ya sabia por muchos años. Fue un honor verlo conocido y hoy poder decir para siempre “yo fuà compañero de Don José Sosa” Yo soy un mejor músico y buena persona porque el señor Sosa fue un fiel amigo mÃo.
