Obituary
Jose Alfredo Vallejo was born on February 11, 1959 in Leon Guanajato Mexico to Jesus Vallejo and Guadalupe Acosta. Jose fell in love with the City of Sacramento and has lived here since 1975. He married and raised his family in the Freeport area. He worked at Blue Diamond Almond Growers for over 24 years. He was passionate about helping and listening to people, and always there for his family. In his spare time, he taught his son how to work on things around the house and cars. He enjoyed listening to music in his garage for hours, watering his plants, fixing anything that was broken, and watching western movies. He loved working on cars, welding, fabricating, fishing, Budweiser, eating almonds, gardening and anything that had to do with his favorite classic rock songs. He is known for having a great big heart, giving ice cream to his granddaughters before meals, and his family gatherings at his house for a Carne Asada barbecue. To many of his family members, he was known as Tio Alfredo. He passed away at the age of 62 on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Sutter Hospital.
The viewing will be at East Lawn Mortuary, 4300 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 3:00pm-7:00pm. There will be a viewing at 10am on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 prior to the funeral service at 11:00am, followed by the cremation. A Celebration of Life will take place at East Lawn Memorial Park – Greenhouse.

A warm soul who always cared and was quick to correct me when I spoke bad Spanish π, always welcomed me to his home with Jesus and his wife. I wish his family nothing but the very best of memories.
So many memories of your Mom and Dad when they lived here in Syracuse Ny. I wish I would have seen you again Freddy . Lots of love

Cousin Freddy made the best Carne Asada on the BBQ grill Iβve ever had. I will always remember the Hot Rod Pontiac Firebird that he built with our family. It was entered in the US Auto Nationals Show at the NYS Fair Grounds and was put on TV News as a fine example of Craftsmanship. I witnessed that his son Jesus has the passion too!
Mr. Vallejo was a kind man and will be missed.
May Jehovah provide comfort for the entire family β€οΈ
