  • The Speice Family in NY says:

Dear Joan, LeeRoy, Heather and Scott… Our hearts go out to you at this most difficult time. Please know that even though we cannot be with you right now, that you are in our prayers.

  • Jessica Blaemire says:

Although I only had the opportunity to meet Joan on a few occasions, I have very fond memories of both her and Uncle Gene, and I will miss her tremendously. I do not remember my first meeting with my AUnt Joan, but I know I got off on the right foot with her. I was an infant and my Uncle had dressed me in a shirt reading “Joan and Gene are Assholes.” My family has always been one that loves to laugh, and Joan was a great example of that. I will hold the memories I have of her and Gene close to my heart.

  • Dennis & Dana Leitzman says:

My Great Aunt. I loved her greatly and will miss her even more.

  • Kevin, Robin, Brian & Kevin Blaemire says:

Our lifelong memories of both Aunt Joan & Uncle Gene always include fun times, a practical joke, and a good laugh. Aunt Joan will be greatly missed, as Uncle Gene has been, but we will always remember them with much love. Our deepest sympathy to Joanie, Lee, Heather, & Scott.

  • Cynthia Comley says:

I will always miss sitting around the kitchen table with Grandma and crying because I cannot stop laughing at all of the crazy stories and jokes.

  • Tim & Mindy Speice says:

Dear LeeRoy and Joan, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to reap…. a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.” Ecclesiastes 3. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. God Bless you and your family during this time of mourning. Love Tim and Mindy

  • Lee and Margie Speice says:

Dear LeeRoy and Joan: We only met Joan a few times as they lived on the west coast and we were on the east coast. The first time was at the marriage of her daughter and our son in Florida, both of them being in the AirForce. She was a joy to be with and we will remember all the good times we had. Our deepest sympathy to both of you and you have our love always. We will miss her too. Love, Mom and Dad
