Jean “Gina” Jensen, 88, passed away peacefully at her home into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on April 18, 2015, following a brief illness. Jean was born on July 29, 1926 in Terra Bella, California, and daughter of Filiberto and Ottavia Roni. She was united in marriage to Jack R. Jensen on September 30, 1948, in Visalia, California. Jean and Jack were devoted to one another for over 66 years. She is survived by her husband, Jack, their children and spouses: Barbara Williams, Brunswick, Maine and Gary Jensen (Patty), Carmichael, California, four loving grandchildren, nineteen great -grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A consummate mother, grandmother and homemaker, Jean was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends; she was a true servant. There was always a place at her table for anyone who needed a meal with family. Her smile and laughter will be missed by all her family and friends. She was a sincere, faithful true friend to many. Viewing at East Lawn Mortuary/Sierra Hills Memorial Park (5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA 95841) on Friday, April 24, 2015, will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of her life and graveside service at 10:00 a.m. A light lunch will be served at the St. Francis Hall on the cemetery grounds.

    My Aunt Jean was so special to me and my family. I will alwayls remember her. She lived with us when I was a baby – and I spent many summers with her- I remember going on the train , airplane to spend part of summer with her when I was a young child- then Aunt Jean and uncle Jack would drive

    To Fresno to take me home- when I was married- we all drove to Vegas- what fun- I spent a lot of time with my Aunt Jean- I have so many memories that I could write a book’ I will miss her

    But never forget her..She called me to wish me Happy Birth Day in 2014! It is still on my
