Jack graduated from Sacramento High School in 1961 and was a bus driver for the Sacramento Transit Authority in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. During his layovers in Reno, he became a great bowler at the MGM Grand Hotel, where he met his wife, Regina. When Trailways went out of business, Jack started working for the city of Sacramento, solid waste division where he ultimately retired as a supervisor in charge of the cities GIS system.
