Aug 4, 1930 - Oct 23, 2022

Gladys Marjorie Tyler-Geiwitz passed peacefully Sunday October 23rd with her loving son Mark at her side. Gladys had just turned 92 on August 24th 2022.
Gladys, born in 1930 in Nampa, Idaho, had married George E. Tyler and a few years later moved to Southern California where they raised 4 children :
Marge Bielefeld (deceased), Billie Custock, George Tyler (deceased) and youngest son Mark Tyler. She remarried later in life after the passing of husband George and was blessed with a wonderful 2nd marriage to Mr. Clifford P. Geiwitz. Mom and Cliff enjoyed life together in Elk Grove Ca. And traveled extensively in their RV, Cruise Ships and international travel for about 20 years before Cliff’s passing.
Gladys is survived by younger brothers,
Edgar William (Bill) Ayers, Theodore (Ted) Ayers and loving sister in-law
Ellen Ayers. Gladys, born to John and Gladys Ayers had 11 brothers and sisters sometimes referred to as “The Dirty Dozen” They are, oldest to youngest,
Robert (Bob) Henry Ayers, Mary Alice Cooley, Cathrine ( Kay) B. Hunnel,
Lawrence (Larry) S. Ayers, Donald (Don) C. Ayers, James (Jim) L. Ayers,
Ray Earl Ayers, Gladys (Maggie) L. Tyler-Geiwitz, Edgar William (Bill) Ayers, Gerald(Jerry)Ayers, Carl L. Ayers and Theodore (Ted) Ayers. Count ,em !12!!!
Mom also had a number of Grand children, great grand children, too many to try and name nieces and nephews. Through the years the the Ayers family had many reunions in some great locations and the multitude of family would get together and celebrate the life and times of the extended Ayers Clan.
Since moms passing, I’ve been told by nearly everyone I’ve contacted of what a classy lady my mother Gladys was. She will be greatly missed but has left behind a wonderful life of loving memories captured in her beautiful smile.
I love you mom. Mark.
