As one of George’s co-workers, I got to hear frequently of his absolute joy in getting to share Jesus with the world each night on K-LOVE radio. His gratitude for God’s saving grace spilled out each day as he wrote, edited, produced or recorded all kinds of media. We’ll never forget his imprint. May God richly bless George’s family and may his legacy of grace live on forever. -Monika Kelly, K-LOVE Radio

While I didn’t know George personally, listening to him on K-Love helped me through many sleepless nights following my knee replacement. I’m deeply saddened by his death but rejoice in the fact that he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Prayers for all his family.

These last few years meant so much to me, having you back in my life was amazing. I can’t believe you’re really gone. My days seem so long now without you. I will wear your ring today, tomorrow and forever. Thank you for loving me and letting me love you. Until we meet again, Georgie.

  • FF says:

So sorry for your loss. May your family find comfort in the hope at Rev 21:4 which says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”.

  • Fran Welch says:

George. I listened to you each morning on Klove and when I heard you died I cried. I love the Klove DJS n I knew you were having surgery but to know you died meant I lost a good friend I would not ever hear again on the morning show. It was never the same. One tear later George I still miss you. I know you are in the hands of our Savior. From your friend Fran I miss u. Love in Christ.
