George had the fastest car in world when we were in high school and he made sure he always did as we crept up there in years. Alou.

  • Michael Ochoa says:

George was one of my brothers in most circle of friends and was a very important person to me when I was growing up. He was always so positive, happy and generous. May the perpetual light shine upon George. And may he rest in peace.

  • Jennie Ochoa says:

I’ve known and loved George more than 40 years of my life. As a young girl he was a wonderful big brother. He brought me gifts and smiles regularly. As a young adult I came to know him more and discovered his generous spirit surpassed his wealth. George knew how to love. He knew how to be a great friend. He guarded his friendships with an open hearted mindfulness of compassion and caring. In his passing the world has suffered a grievous loss. I will not hike the trail to Feather Falls without thinking of him. I will not sing Karaoke without thinking of him. A volleyball game on the beach will have his smile in my mind and heart. When the ball drops in Times Square I will think of him and all those times he flew to New York to watch it in person. I regret not going with you that year, George. I’ll always regret that. I love you George and I miss you already, though I had not seen you in years. The old cliche, “Only the good die young,” was written for people like George. My condolences to all who grieve, especially his family and most of all his child.

  • Aaron Ochoa says:

  • Bill Werfel says:

One of the really good people to come into my life. Unflappable, good at his job with a really great sense of humor. This world needs more people like George not one less. I’m sorry he’s gone.

  • Cecile says:

It is with great sadness that I learned of George passing today. He was the kindest man ever. He always wanted to make people happy. Thank you for everything George. You will never be forgotten.

  • Amanda says:

We met George in 2006 and he was a great soul. We lost touch once we left Sacramento and I hadn’t heard from him in a while. Found his old number and text him and the person told me he heard he had passed. He said George received a lot of messages on that number and he sounded like an outstanding guy. We miss you George, lots of memories at the XO and at your home.
