Obituary

orn January 15th, 1923, Evelyn Pearson passed away November 20th, 2013 in Folsom, California at 90 years of age. Preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Lila June DeMarco and Alma Lois Saputo, son Sean Dobrinen and daughter Kathleen Pearson. Survived by 9 children, Denis Dobrinen, Dierdre Dobrinen, Timothy Dobrinen, James Dobrinen, Maura Eastwood, Jack Pearson, Colleen Pearson, Bridget West, Mollie Pearson,  17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A Northern California native, Evelyn lived the majority of her life in the Sacramento area. She freelanced as an artist and was an exceptional talent. She also worked as an editor for a time. She loved to write articles of interest and enjoyed researching information. Growing up in San Francisco,  most weekends would find the then teenage Evelyn down at the San Francisco Seals ball games!  She was a favorite of Lefty O’Doul who was quite fond of little ” Eve “. She married at 19 years of age which produced 5 children. After tragedy, Evelyn found love again which resulted in 6 additional births. She worked diligently to provide for her family and was an excellent seamstress. In the early days, she would sew all of the clothing for her children.
In her 40’s she found success in the Real Estate industry and took up the game of golf, which she was very fond of.  As time went on, grandchildren arrived and she loved to spend time with all of them. Always young at heart, grandma loved to attend her grandchildren’s plays, ball games, birthdays and family get togethers.
Evelyn also loved music and dancing! She was one of the few people in the world who can claim that she saw the Beatle perform live! Always quick witted, she was a great deal of fun to be with. Hilarious sense of humor and a woman of principal and integrity. We love you mother and will miss you dearly.
