Edythe Dorothy Etheridge

Went peacefully to her Lord and Savior on October 5, 2010. She was born on February 26, 1925, in Charlton Kings, Gloucester, England. Edythe was the loving wife of George C. Etheridge who preceded her in death on June 14, 2008. She spent 20 years travelling the world as an Air Force wife and finally settled in North Highlands, Calif., upon her husband’s retirement. She was a homemaker most of her life and her greatest passion was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her interests included camping, gardening, spending time with family and taking long walks with her husband and twin sister Christine. She is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Dunlay (Robert) and Karen Caswell (Mark), three grandchildren, Christopher, Steven and Amanda; sister Jackie Latham of England; as well and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and twin sister Christine Ramer. Edythe will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. She will be missed and forever in our hearts. A memorial is being held on Friday, October 15, at 10 a.m. at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane in Sacramento. All are welcome to celebrate her life.
