BAKER, Edward E.
Born November 7, 1925, and went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2012. He grew up in Missouri and served his country in the Navy during WWII. He settled in the Sacramento area in 1957 with his beloved wife of 52 years, Kathy Baker.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two grandchildren, Ashli Thorsted and Phillip E. Baker, II. He is survived by his two children Brenda Thorsted and Phillip Baker; his sister Margaret Bray; and 6 grandchildren, James, Kelsi, and Mikayla Thorsted and Amanda, Jessica, and Matthew Baker.
He was a bricklayer in and around Sacramento for 40 years. His talent and knowledge are displayed in many buildings such as Hughes Stadium, but the biggest mark he left was on the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be at East Lawn Mortuary on Greenback Lane, Citrus Heights, CA, on October 29, 2012 from 4pm-8pm. Services will be October 30, 2012, 1pm, at Antelope Christian Center, 4533 Antelope Road, Antelope, CA. Reception will follow.
