As a perfume does remain in the folds where it has lain, so the thoughts of you remain, All things leave us… You’ll remain.

I still don’t want to believe you’re gone. I miss you sooo much grandma!

Whether you join in on Mon. or not, rest assured we are shedding tears together. Edith, mom, had a way of touching everyone, sometimes with the business end of a broom, other times with a smile, and even the occasional opinion. The tears will dry up soon enough, so cry on.. Gary

My condolences to the Pell family, especially my daughters Nicole and Jene’ and their families. I am very proud of both of you for stepping in to help care for your grandma so your Uncle Gary could have time to shopping, banking and his rejuvenating. I know you loved your grandma very much. I know she loved you too. And I will remember her for her cooking skills. Especially her home made noodles and her home made cherry cheese cake. God now has another angel to help your grandpa Pell to watch over all of you.

Dear Pell Family Jon and I are sharing your sadness this morning. Edith was a “Mom” to me and a “Gramma” to JON when we needed it most and she gave me the advice, instructions and love of a Mother when my own mom passed away too early. Sometimes it amounted to some See’s candy or a secret special Edith recipe …Sometimes she sent me for a nap or told me eat something with that broomGary talked about but she was always kind to us. Her advice was always right … ” you don’t need to drive the car for them.. Sometimes you just watch out the window.” You let her live like a lady, in her own home, with her family caring for her. What a gift and she certainly deserved the fine care she was given. Gary, I sincerely believe that You couldn’t have wrung one more moment out of her and her care was so wonderful and lovingly given …and I’m including The girls on that and The whole family… our love and support to you all
