Obituary

Donald Gary Pylman, 60, of Clarksburg, passed away on December 18, 2015 at his home in Clarksburg, CA.

He was born on September 17, 1955 in Sacramento, CA to Gary and Joyce Pylman. After graduating from Delta High School, Don attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo for several years. Don was a fifth generation descendent of an immigrant family from Holland, who settled in the Clarksburg Delta in 1882. He was proud of his farming heritage and enjoyed managing Pylman Vineyards, Inc and owned Merritt Island Vineyards, Inc.

Don and his brother, Bruce were active in the Scouting Program in Clarksburg. Don even traveled to Japan for the International Scouting Jamboree. Don then went on to become an Eagle Scout. He served on the board of the Reclamation District 150 and was a long standing member of the Shelby Car Club. Don’s lifelong passions were restoring old farm equipment, racing stock cars and Ford Mustangs.

Besides his parents Gary and Joyce Pylman, Don is survived by his Son, Jim Pylman (Jess) of Galt, CA; Daughter, Krysta Pellandini (Mike) of Galt, CA: Grandson’s, Rowen, Finn, and Lucca Pellandini: Sister, Sharon Brown (Bill) of Clarksburg, CA: Niece, Mallory Brown of Courtland, CA.

He was preceded in death by his Brother, Bruce Pylman.

Private graveside services will be held for family at the East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park, Elk Grove, CA.

Celebration of Life arrangements are pending.
