  • My mom loved nothing more than knowing all her family was safe and healthy. She didn’t like sports because she wanted everyone to win. She made the worlds best apple pie, rice pudding, and bacalhau. She always cooked for 20 even if only 3 of us were around. She wished everyone well and said prayers for all every day. She loved to laugh and she loved to talk. My wife and I cared for her for 32 years. She will be missed but always loved.

  • Robert Russo says:

Words are not adequate to describe all of the happy memories that this kind, loving woman leaves with me and my entire family. Her home in Pacific Grove was a second warm refuge from life and strife; and the memory of it leaves me comforted still. I am honored to be one of those that she worried about and prayed over. I thank God that my own wife and daughter had the opportunity to know her. May she rest in peace.

  • FF says:

Death is so unfair. The scriptures tell us that death is the “last enemy” to be brought to nothing at 1 Cor 15:26. In the meantime, may your family find comfort in God’s promise at Rev 21:4 that says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
