First, I am saddened to hear of your loss. I love you all and pray for the comfort that only God’s love can provide. We so often find it difficult to understand why things happen, but remember that we are thinking with only our fleshly bodies and minds. God’s word tells us that “and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”, Romans 8:28. Hard to make sense of this now, but the truth will be made known as we seek guidance from our Savior, Jesus Christ. May the days ahead bring peace and blessings to your entire family.

I have known Daniel since the time of his birth. I also had the privilege of watching him grow into the leader he was in academics, athletics and student government. Daniel was fun-loving, compassionate and always respectful of others, regardless of circumstance. As his high school principal, I was able to directly observe his transformation from teenager to young adult and later follow his career as a successful educator after his college graduation. Daniel has left the world a better place and his impact on hundreds of young students will be felt for generations to come. Rest In Peace, Daniel.
