I am sorry to hear of Curt’s passing. My heart goes out to Cheri and the family. Curt was a good friend always there no questions asked whenever needed and would give you the shirt off of his back and go without if you needed it. He will be missed by many.

  • Curt and Jackie Newland says:

Curt was a fighter from the time he was born as a preemie at 4 lbs 9ozs.
His Uncle Rick called him “Hard Rock” teasing that he jacked up the other babies in the baby ward. Curt loved to camp and deer hunt. He was always the life of the party on our Colorado Deer trips.
He liked to tell Vietnam war stories saying “Remember when I was in Vietnam I used to….(insert his imagination here)”….We all knew he was never in the Military…But he told a great story like he was there.
Curt loved boating and working on cars. He was so excited when his sister Chrissy had kids and he became an Uncle. He loved being with his nieces and nephews.
Curt seemed lost, like he was missing out on something in life. Then he met Cheri. When he married her he found an instant family that he also fell in love with. He enjoyed her family and their new grandchildren as his own.
He was the toughest person I have ever known having to deal with his years of sickness and daily pain. My Heart is broken, but I am at peace knowing he is no longer in pain. He is now at peace with his mother Norma. Both watching over us together.
His laugh and great personality will be missed. Rest in peace my loving Son.
I love you Son and you will remain forever in my heart.
