Obituary

Carolyn Jean Greer, 79, of Loomis, Calif. passed away on Thursday (Aug 3, 2017).
She was born Carolyn Jean Console on July, 11, 1938 in San Bernardino, Calif., beloved daughter of Walter Console and Lorraine Sharon Higgs. Carolyn was the oldest of 8 children.
Carolyn was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she faithfully served in many church callings. She taught Primary for 18 years, was a Sunday School secretary and a visiting teacher. She was also a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, D.A.R. Daughters of the American Colonists, Sons & Daughters of WWII Veterans and a Mayflower descendant.
She worked for the Sacramento City Unified School District in Food Service.
Survived by her husband, Elwood Greer, daughters, Kim (Mike) Rapier, Kathleen Baccellia, Margot Baccellia, Autumn Baccellia, Virginia Baccellia, and one son, Brent (Angelica) Baccellia; nine grandchildren, Shandra (Cory) Roach, Jeremy Forsyth, Joshua (Heather) Koerner, Renay Guliciuc, Brandon Rapier, Franklin Baccellia, Trista Baccellia, Bassam Ibrahim and Khaled Ibrahim; four great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Forsyth, Koralyn Koerner, Kash Koerner, and Joseph Obeso; four step-children, Richard Baccellia Jr., Candance Reid, Linda (Greg) Avena, Debra (Denny) Herron; four step-grandchildren, Amy Reid, Ian Reid, Tanya (Shawn) Reglin and Brad (Kristin) Lawrence; four step-great grandchildren, Lilly Reid, Iris Reid, Heather Reglin and Shawn Reglin.
Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by a daughter, Colette Baccellia and late husband, Richard Baccellia Sr.
Viewing and funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Loomis 3rd Ward, 3345 Margaret Dr., Loomis, Calif. Viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, Calif. following funeral services.
